Curator

Fay Stevens

Fay Stevens  is an academic, artist and curator whose practice is in drawing, printmaking and performance writing. Her work focuses on perception, experience and identity which she engages with through varying techniques, often favouring the experimental and accidental outcomes of the processes she is working in. Her interest is in the human body and how it inhabits space and landscape which she explores through the theme of sensory engagement and perception . Her current areas of focus are on ‘surfaces’, the interplay between text and image, kinetic drawing andmap making. Overall, her work – both artistic and academic – is phenomenologically informed
